I'm sorry Beyonce is gorgeous! Especially without makeup.

I think George Clooney is one of the best looking men I've ever seen.

I don't get how people think he's gross. Same for Brad Pitt.

Then again, I find Channing Tatum unremarkable. He looks like Alfred E Neuman

I don't think Beyonce is naturally gorgeous, but I think she's cute without makeup and can be gorgeous when made up.

I don't think J Lo is attractive at all with a natural look - it's all smoke and mirrors with her.

I don't find Jennifer Aniston all that attractive relative to other celebrities, but if she was an average person, I'd probably think she was attractive for a regular person.

I also don't really "get" Rihanna. And I think Gisele has a mannish face, though a smokin' body.

She is a miracle of what makeup, hair and wardrobe can do.

And plastic surgery.

In defense if Audrey Helburn her body of a young boy was caused by near starvation during Workd War 2. Many European girls had so little food during the war that they did not have sufficient nourishment during puberty and did not develop womanly features.

Una Thurman is so ugly to me (but a great actor).

I think Rihanna is one of the most naturally gorgeous people I've ever seen. In one of her recent videos (the one on the tub), where she is completely without makeup and you can see her pores and the peach fuzz on her face, she's clearly a naturally gorgeous person even when she's not all done up.

Reese Witherspoon.

Rihanna

Jennifer Lawrence
Cara Delevingne
Beth Ostrosky
Miley Cyrus
Katy Perry

All cute and attractive but as PP said, a great example of what a talented make-up artist can do

??? No one other than their loved ones thinks Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, or Katy Perry is "beautiful." No one has ever spoken of these three as anything more than "attractive." You may think their talent or charm or intelligence or ability is overrated, but their beauty? Who is overrating it?

I thought this too until I saw her in person in NYC. Luminous and stunning.

OMG, I die! This is so true. I am attracted to men who are a little "off" in their handsomeness, not perfect pretty boys. Examples:

Benicio del Toro
Luke Wilson
Harrison Ford
Kevin Spacey (never thought this before watching "House of Cards")
Daniel Craig
David Duchovny

The replies to this thread are very weird. Many of candidates for "overrated" beauty aren't generally described as beautiful by anyone. Reese Witherspoon? There may be a lot to like about her, but is she typically held up by the press as some sort of great beauty? Miley Cyrus? Glenn Close?

There's something very sad about this to me, a sense that only someone who is *truly* beautiful deserves fame and fortune, and the rest of the poseurs should get off the stage. Ordinary-looking people can have other very admirable talents and skills. They still have to put on a dress and make-up and go to the award shows. And then we tear them apart for not being truly beautiful. "Look at her, who does she think she is? She's not that pretty." Would you prefer that they put a bag over their faces so as not to offend you with their less-than-perfect looks?
