Ok, so? If the suspect was someone who had been sentenced by the judge (say, 30 years ago), they could still be holding a grudge even if the judge passed away years ago.

Lodato's brother is a retired judge as well.

Just another piece of info that her father is no longer living. Was not implying anything else.

I really, really hope they make an arrest, or I'm going to start to lose faith with the Alexandria Police Department. As others have pointed out, we have had two deaths of community leaders IN THEIR HOMES in the last few years, and the police do not appear to be close to making an arrest in the Nancy Dunning or Ron Kirby.
It's like if they don't have the killer caught holding the gun, they can't close a murder case.

They couldn't have gotten a sketch going? by this time? No height, build description?

Really disappointed in the Alexandria PD.

I went jogging on the Mount Vernon Trail this morning, and 1 out of every 3 people was an older white male with a beard. They really need to get more specific.

I understand the need for sensitivity for the victim's family, but I think public safety is of imminent concern - time is critical, and they need to get more details ASAP.

OMG seriously are you inside my head, I just said the same thing. Press asked great questions, police and mayor gave a straight answer to none of them.
