they are also known as elizabeth johnson and jason pancoast, they have been pulling this scam for YEARS! Google them, this is terrible and sad for those kids.

Just realized that I encountered this family at the Harris Teeter in Shirlington back in February. I had seen this thread before on DCUM, but didn't connect it to this family. I had no cash so took a GoFundMe paper from them, but something seemed off and I didn't donate.

If it was the 13 year old girl, she is actually vision impaired. If she's not with her, sometimes she has one of her other kids hold the cane, presumably for sympathy.

Elyse stopped me outside of the Starbucks at the Wayside shopping plaza in Burlington, MA today. She was exploiting her daughter by making her stand there as a prop while she implored me for money to "help her daughter fight brain cancer." I almost gave her $20 but my friend recognized it as a scam. After we Googled "Elyse Johnson, Adrianne" we found this forum. I'm so frustrated that Elyse would exploit her daughter to tug at peoples' heartstrings and manipulate money from them.

Thank you for not buying into this racket. Call the non-emergency police number if you see her begging. Her kids need to be in school.

I was just wondering where she was. I had seen her in three different states.Very odd coincidence for us to be in same place at same time a couple of years apart.I thought at one time it was some kind of sign or something.I realize now it was just an odd coincidence . I do wish her God's blessings despite everything.

I just saw them this morning(10/22/2016) in front of Giant at Wynnewood, PA. I didn't have cash on me but i just took a look at the Gofundme/adrianne and also read other info on this family. Is this how they make a living ?

No way! I live on the Main Line and now I want to see her. I never saw her in DC when I was living there. Yes, this is how they make a living.

She's mid 40s liking, thin, with brown hair - if you search gofundme you can see a pic of her in the page I think
