Just saw her last night at the Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting. She had one of her daughters with her, but it couldn't have been Adrianne, for this girl only looked to be 8 or 9. I was with my 6 year old daughter and she must have thought I was an easy target. I told her maybe I would give her money on my way back out, and so she handed me a little piece of paper with the go fund me site on it. When I came back out, no more than five or 10 minutes later, she was gone. I couldn't stop thinking about it as it was tugging at my heartstrings, so I went to the go fund me page. And then I googled her name. So glad that I did. |
Why would you want to see her? |
I reported her GoFundMe page, and I encourage others to do the same. She's a con artist, simple as that. Those poor kids will never have a semblance of a normal life, so so sad. |
This is nuts. A quick Google search makes it apparent that Jason and Elyse have been at this for at least ten years, probably more. They were doing it before their daughter was diagnosed with cancer, and continue to do it for many years after her diagnosis in treatment... all the while using the story about the cancer to drum up more sympathy and funds. I feel so bad for their children. |

I just saw this woman outside a Trader Joe's in Center City, Philadelphia tonight. I was actually going to donate to the GoFundMe page, but something about her seemed a little fishy. I looked into it and I'm glad I found this thread. I will not be donating. |
They are pretty much the six degrees of Kevin Bacon model of husband and wife panhandling teams. At least everyone on Earth has been shaken down by them or know someone who has. Second hand. |
Update. I'm the poster who knows her on fb. She gave birth to another baby 2 days ago. |
Lol. This is just one reason why I refuse to ever give any aid to panhandlers. It's great to give to worthy organizations that will help all who need assistance, but it's crazy to give to individuals. |
Is she actually affluent or is she a nomad? |
What is strange is fact that the State Of Massachusetts completely vetted this people & decided to close a CPS case in 2014. Their children did go to school for a year on Cape Cod in conjunction. All children were exemplary & at the top of the respective classes within 3 months. When Winter housing was not available they stayed in Hotels for 2 months to finish the school year. All involved know they take extraordinary care of their children. Particularly when considering they are systematically discriminated against & unduly defamed as in this thread. Obviously hysterical people like to run with heresy; hence why they continue to avoid being persecuted. Unfotunately recursive minded people need to scapegoat the victim |
What? Why do we know about her at all. Most normal couples who take "extraordinary care" are not notorious like this. So why do people even know who she is? Because she is out there asking for money. To me, this puts her in the public eye and able to be criticized. |
If they are derelicts why are the children off the charts & always well dressed? Have you noticed how disturbing the low income environment is these days? If official bodies In Massachusetts, where here treatment was done, open & close cases without offered them housing; don't you think something is fishy? Arguably these folks are protecting their children. |
Get a job Elyse! |
What I'd like to know is what do she and her husband claim on their tax forms? Do they pay taxes? |
