It is just a safe place (well, when people are nice) to deal with the waiting anxiety. I don't think many of us actually think huge revelations about the process or specific schools will come out of the survey. My guess is that most are reading this thread because they know they have no control and this is one way to share that feeling of powerlessness with a supportive, anonymous community. It would be totally socially inappropriate to have this conversation over and over again with our neighbors who also are waiting, or with people who don't care at all.

Exactly! It is very nice to have someplace you safely vent your frustration that you may be either accepted or rejected for spending large amounts of money to either ruin, make, or have no impact your DC's life. Once this is all over, and there are no more choices to make, and we are heading down a well-determined (if probably not optimal) path, I won't need to safely vent my anxiety here so that I don't vent it on my poor suffering DH and D-coworkers.

St Albans and NCS have their own test.

OK, I made some adjustments in response to feedback people posted, and the links above go to the final beta-test version. If you have any last-minute additions, or see errors that need to be corrected, please post them now. I will wipe out all the test results on Thursday, so that it's ready for real results on Friday March 4.

FYI - someone just posted on another thread that they got results this weekend from four of the major schools. You may want to wipe it earlier?

23:29 - i am pretty sure that this person Misread a post on the thread about whether schools called with acceptances in prior years. A person listed schools that they had heard from last year and how they were contacted and a few readers thought the posted acceptances were for this year.
