What's the point of a routine physical?

so you're just a highly opinionated person with absolutely no medical training or experience, yet you think you can tell everyone what is wrong or right to put in their bodies? What gives you the right to spread your uneducated opinion all over DCUM?...and yes, I recognize you on every forum. You're the first person to always post "make an apt with a medical professional", or "antidepressants work for me". Well goodie for you, but not everyone who experiences sadness for a day needs to be on addictive antidepressants. You sound like nothing more than a desperate pharma rep who wants to feel validated in a world that is beginning to finally see the light and rebel against big pharma's dictatorship. Oh, and I love it when you say "ignore the PP", when I share alternative medicine ideas. So what it comes down to is that you have NO experience with alternative medicine, otherwise you wouldn't be putting it down all the time, AND you have NO experience in western medicine, as you've admitted. So why the hell are you trying to give ANYONE advice here? What have you cured? Who have you actually helped with your advice, other than the pockets of big pharma?

Huh? Um, no. In fact I am not sure I've ever posted before on health and medicine or in response to ANY medical thread anywhere. I am not on antidepressants, or anything else for that matter. Sometimes I try and remember to take a multivitamin, but it doesn't happen often. I've never told anyone to "ignore the PP." My goodness, you're angry. But you should at least know the person you're angry with is STILL OUT THERE!!! Because it's not me. You've got to see the humor though in your rabid criticism of someone you thought was a medical professional, and then your equally rabid criticism when you found out they were not.

Come on now, follow the thread.

I have already posted that I, the one who keeps referring to illiterate medical professionals, did not write that post.

They only thing that is humorous is that people can't keep the posters straight when there is an obvious effort to differentiate. And it is kind of funny too that you didn't get what the poster was saying in terms of you posting in other threads. He or she didn't mean you in particular, they meant people like you who bow down to the mighty high priests.

What does your doctor think of this?

Yeah, I definitely don't get your humor...lol. But in any case, I am wishing good health for all of us and all of our loved ones no matter how that is accomplished. Happy holidays to you and yours.
