Our CS major has had good paid internships every summer of college plus a semester long internship abroad. He’s about to graduate and has a summer internship offer but no job offer yet.

Where are humanities majors getting jobs? Consulting ? Is there a specific humanities major that is more desirable? DC is debating getting history or political science major and wondering about job prospects.

Friend's son gradated from MIT in CS, and landed a SWE role at Jane Street with a $400k total comp package. This was 2 years ago.
