Very low percentages of entering students have class rank reported these days. Half reporting standardized test and 20-25% class rank explains the high entering class stats reported. |
Wow!!! 40% of admitted did not report any test scores. No scores=low scores. Georgetown: 100% submitted scores. That’s all I need to know about the student body. |
jhu in 2019 had a 1480 to 1550 range for enrolled freshman. it wasnt close then between jhu and uva/georgetown and it wont be close now after jhu required test scores. https://hub.jhu.edu/2019/08/22/class-of-2023-by-the-numbers/ |
for comparison, georgetown was 1370 to 1530 in 2019 when jhu required test scores. https://georgetown.app.box.com/s/sty6w23zh0te8rnsbnndy62afivfdaz1 |
Only 50% of Hopkins admitted test scores. You can’t compare test results between Georgetown and UVA/JHU when the latter have only 1/2 (only high scores) submitting. DUH For having 100% submitting (athletes and everyone) GU is strong. |
Uva same time frame when test scores were required had a 1330 to 1500 range for comparison: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JdpaH_toZH8-ix6XVXpfr5qVCGskoBqB/view?usp=drivesdk again, not close |
Kids score lower nowadays than 2019. Covid effect |
selectivity has only increased. go see test required schools like MIT, Dartmouth, and others. All are higher than 2019 |
what are you talking about? jhu had 68% of enrolled freshman submit test scores. and like i showed you, it wasnt close when jhu did require test scores in 2019 precovid. jhu this year required test scores again. the difference will remain significant |
Admitted students; not enrolled is what was reported |
| ^ this year |
I mean - come on. That should be standard at every university/college. Mad respect. |
|
1 - Georgetown
2 - JHU 3 - UVA |
cite sources. where does jhu show percent of admitted students with test scores? |
Again, you’re talking about like half of the classes having overlapping scores. This isn’t the big deal you think it is, you’re just too fixated on obsessing over these numbers to realize it. |
