Can you elaborate more about AK’s coaching? What are his weakness? |
Had AK when my kid was littles. He wasn’t welled liked but now those parents who didn’t like him then said he was one of the best coach the girls had. He taught them to pass, teamwork and work hard. |
| I'm surprised a big club like Arlington would let the same coach keep a team for 4 years straight. That is not good practice. |
I find it strange too. I would think Clubs who say they have an Academy would limit a developmental Head Coach to just 2 years for the purpose of developing the players with a new Coach. Get rid of Coaching Bais ect... |
I watched Arlington played up, they won, but so many kick balls, not meaningful possession-based play. Is it really beneficial for development? |
He has his favorites - usually gives preferential playing time to the girls he knows from before and is most familiar with - it's hard to break into his team, even if you deserve playing time. I heard he was going to step away this year for personal reasons, and even despite this, he doesn't go above and beyond - usually no extra trainings or scrimmages. Beyond that, he's just a decent youth soccer coach - not among the best but not among the worst. |
<fix>He gives preferential treatment to players who listen to direction and execute on what they should be doing - it’s hard to break into his team with mediocrity, even if the parent’s paid the same. </fix> |
So true |
| If AK is considered a bad coach then we know this whole thing is upside down and backwards. |
| I don't even know the guy and its so obvious he is posting here pretending to be a parent. |
You really don’t know what you’re talking about. |
And if you knew him you would be even more convinced that he is posting the above. Keep fighting Coach! |
| How is the girls' PA 2 coach? |
What year? |
Not PP but how about U11? |
