And IG.

Seems pretty normal.

There are so many crazy men walking around... with one minor inconvenience away from totally losing their mind.

No, he doesn't seem normal. From his socials, He is a 30 something man with very few friends.

Men are not women. Most men do not have a lot of friends. They might know people, but most men have three to five people they would call "friend".

He's garbage!!! Who stabs a dog. At least we don't have to pay for his trial and imprisonment.

What kind of person is more upset that an animal was killed than innocent human beings?

His surname seems to be Filipino

I hope they do an autopsy of the killer. I still think it's domestic somehow. But maybe he's just crazy. Brain tumor. Drugs. Senseless regardless.

Something like schizophrenia wouldn't show up in an autopsy, unfortunately. He's a bit old for that, though.

What secrecy? We know the killer, where he worked, etc. What do you want his autopsy?

No news media word on what caused to the road rage, if all the women were in same car, whose dog it was. Weird.
Anecdotal x posts and such from other drivers but no facts. Why? It's not like he's going to trial.

Because real investigations take longer than an episode of Law & Order?

Probably not, but it makes about as much sense as anything. Sad for those killed and injured.

Pictures and some account on Reddit said he was using a big chefs knife. Not something you just randomly have in your car.

I’m about to start carrying one in my car if this is what psychos are doing on the Beltway. I don’t have a gun and don’t have any training in gun handling, but I got tons of knives and plenty of skill with those. Not necessarily the dice 10 onions in 2 minutes skill but enough to defend myself from a road raging psychopath.

Machetes are popular since you can easily explain why you might have one.

What's the explanation for driving and/or walking around with a machete. I have two for home safety, but I don't know. Help me understand the easily explainable reason for drive/walk around use.

I was helping my friend with some gardening/landscaping. I volunteer at XYZ local park to remove invasive vines/plants.

I have never suggested walking around with one.

Where did you take this class?

Not PP but when my DH bought a handgun he took a safety class, I think it was at Engage Armament in Rockville. The NRA offers them, too.

If there was an officer involved shooting they need to investigate to see if the officer was justified. It definitely seems like it but they need to be sure.

A PP said the family members were told by police not to reveal anything. That’s the secrecy to which I was referring. But also things like whether he knew the victims and if he seemingly caused the wreck on purpose. Stuff like that.

Yes. But, you would think news reports would be following this. It is a very peculiar story.

As to mental state. Go look up what cannabis is doing these days. This ain't your daddy's mj.

I saw comment on a News post that he had been released from a psych hospital in Merrifield les than 24 hr prior. No idea if that is true bud does seem to be mental health related.
