What about absent parents, and bad homes lives, abusive families, health issues, poverty, etc?

So begin by not making excuses for irresponsible parents. I know many families with very little money who live in crowded housing and have children in the schools where I work. They do an incredible job of teaching their kids to be responsible and law-abiding. They attend meetings, encourage their kids, and use the resources made available to them.

I know a guy in his 50s who does these. He’s a doctor with a serious midlife crisis issue. So he’s bought all these cars and hangs out with these kids thinking it makes him look cool.

There's regular car meetups, often known as Cars and Coffee. Everyone parks their cars in a parking lot and people walk around and look at each other's cars. No violence or trouble. People are even reminded to leave the parking lot quietly and not do burnouts and so on. I know a lot of men in their 50s who attend these.

None of them would participate in the lawlessness seen on the video (plus it took place after their bedtime).

The 50s guy I know definitely does the takeovers! He posts about it on social media. It’s very bizarre. But, he engages in a lot of other very risky behavior, like sleeping with sex workers.

Does he have kids? Hopefully he hasn't reproduced.

Unfortunately he does. His wife is the absolute sweetest woman I’ve ever met. It’s a bizarre pairing. They’re extremely wealthy, which I’m assuming is why she stays. Hopefully she offsets her husband’s influence over the kids.
