ok. Suit yourself. Beat on the institution you are attending. Sounds great. |
No court is going to go back down the blind alley of saying that some forms of racial discrimination are permissible under the 14th amendment for the sake of something as notional and theoretical as "the benefits of diversity in education" |
They love watching Harvard get its comeuppance. |
So many R1 state universities and colleges and we send all the money to Harvard. |
It is funding at schools that engage in racial discrimination |
That's the sort of racism that makes lawsuits like SFFA necessary. You might as well have started your second sentence with "you people" Asians are the majority of humans on the planet, get used to it. |
Yes, but presumably future supreme courts will. |
Not really. That comes up in conversation.... Never. |
I think that is a pretty naive reading of things. Especially given the behavior of the current court where one side has a lot of “flexibly” regarding precedence and accepted law. |
The current court doesn’t seem to care much. |
The harvard corporation an orphan entity. |
What a pleasure it would be to have this kid as a roommate! Here we are at Harvard and Harvard suc#*. |
It's racial discrimination. Would you have suggested that if the blacks in Montgomery, Alabama didn't like the way the bus company was doing business they should have just engaged in their bus boycott and should not have sued to have the segregation declared illegal? We fight racism because it's wrong, not because it is convenient to do so. Watching generations of asians kids trying to figure out how to look less asian on college applications is heart breaking. |
All the selective ones are engaging in the same type of racial discrimination. |
If yours was engaging in racism, wouldn't you? |
