My family is interested so we care. Many families are interested and care. If you don’t care, you don’t have to talk on the thread.

Pomona is no more of a cute bubble than ASU or Harvard or Berkeley. College isn’t the real world, and it doesn’t need to be.

Bama has more name recognition than most of the Ivy league. If you think that the public has any real recognition of CMU, JHU, WashU, Emory, etc. you are delusional, Clemson has far more name recognition as do the Ducks! Just proved it too you because you know who the Ducks are. Rice and Vandy are well known.....as shitty athletics programs (until recently in the caser of Vandy). Get the picture? General public knowledge is meaningless.
