She an opinionated BLACK woman in politics in a world that doesn't like black women, let alone black women with opinions who do not cower.

Does she identify as Black? Serious question. Americans tend to think the world reflects our divisions. Somalis may not see themselves as Black.

In this case, what she identifies as is less of a factor than what others identify her as. The question is why do people hate her so much.

Most don't see her as Black. She's Muslim, East African, Somali, an immigrant, a woman, very loud and complaining, and adjacent to fraudulent activities all while beating up on American systems and policies.

To activity support her, you'd need to either be Somali or liberal who supports her because of her background.

Okay, let me be clearer. She's visibly non-white, and white people don't like it when visibly non-white people have opinions they don't like and the confidence to challenge them.

In this political climate, [people] don’t like it when [other people] have opinions they don’t like.

I’m not sure race is that big a part of it anymore. If she were MAGA, MAGA folks would like her just fine despite the color of her skin.

No trolls please. Serious question.

“On Monday, Ms Omar tweeted that ‘we have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the US, Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban.’”

She can jump in a lake as far as I’m concerned.

She is CLEARLY ONE HUNDRED PERCENT RIGHT.

Israel killed as many treasured one life means all lives, pale Israeli Jew on and after 10/7 by choice. They let Hamas kill and kill for hours. By choice. By lack of response. So……you and Bibi can get f’d in a lake together.

I’m talking about her aura. She has a messy family life. Very sketchy. She is much more immoral than her supporters will admit.

Her aura is not nearly as dark as say Stephen and Katie Miller. But she’s not that far off from Trump in terms of dark energy.

So now we’re slandering her with woo? I get bad vibes from a lot of people, too.

For real. I wouldn’t want to be in a grocery store with the idiot raving about auras.

She’s not wrong.

Technically perhaps. But do you agree with her implication that the US, Taliban and Hamas are morally equivalent?

I emphatically do not. And I think that anyone who does is unfit to serve as a representative of this country.

People who have survived American atrocities in the Middle East and Vietnam absolutely would consider them morally equivalent. We’ve done some god awful things to innocent people. They might not agree with our self-interested opinion that these atrocities were justified and deserved.

Hey, please don’t leave out survivors of purges by US-backed military dictatorships across the Americas.

2/3's of Congress should be kicked out given their principal allegiance is to Israel.

More than 9/10ths by that measure.

You miss the point completely. It’s hard to take you seriously on any discussion with fraud because the same people that claim that she’s guilty of fraud, look the other way with Trump.

So what you are saying is it is ok to be white, very loud and complaining, adjacent to fraudulent activities (even participate in them and pardon people who commit them), and beat up on American systems and policies, while married to a white immigrant. See - oue POTUS

So basically by your own comment, it's just the misogyny, racism, and xenophobia that makes one on and one not ok.

Weird response. We were talking about Omar. Change out her country of origin and I promise you, people still won't like her.

I watch her and think she's barely holding it together.

She was going to beat the brakes off of the criminal who attacked her. So you like it better when the woman calls you master and pretends she’s into it? Weird.

Is you're not Israel first, then you'll have a very difficult time in congress. Omar is no exception.

+1. She is being attacked and her life is under threat every single day. I married a Jew but I’m done with the people coddling Israel in this country. America is for Americans, not Netanyahu and the Israeli extreme right wing orthodox.

Time to cut the apron strings and let them grow up. They need to learn how to make friends and play nice or they’re going to continue to get beat up.

You do know the videos are always edited to be unfavorable. And anyway, is she your rep? If not, who cares what you think.

You know who is ungrateful and hates america? Elon Musk, Mark Andreeson, Peter Thiel, ect. All those ungrateful jerks who s h i t on America every single day. Who sit in their compounds and lecture to us and buy our politics. They are the most ungrateful. Then come the politicians who ignore the will of the voters and treat us like s h i t.

MAGA loves to punch done.

Maybe, they are happy to have pets of any color. But you can’t deny that they save their most atrocious vitriol for women and women of color in particular who disagree with them. Omar ticks a lot of boxes that trigger their stunted, mediocre, little MAGA minds.

I think most people are entirely neutral about this person. It's only the terminally online who have strong opinions, influenced by whatever crap they infuse into their eyeballs.

Personally I think she's very spunky and is well-suited for politics, with that personality. I agree with some of her values and not others. She's OK.
