She wants it both ways.

We need to get rid of dual citizenship.

You can F right off with that. I have dual citizenship because I have one European-born parent. As does my husband. As do a lot of people I know. And don’t forget about all the dual citizenship Jewish Congress people.

So, why do you want it?

Why SHOULDN’T I want it? It’s permitted by US law. It’s preposterous to suggest that, in a country made up of immigrants, that people shouldn’t be allowed to have dual citizenship if the other country allows it.

Are you concerned about dual loyalties? Is that the problem?

Government official shouldn't have dual citizenship. The reasons are obvious.

You don't need dual citizenship to promote the interests of the country your parents or grandparents were from. Case in point--Marco Rubio. He may not be a Cuban citizen but you better believe that, besides wanting to be president, his desire to see a "free" Cuba drives his work in the Trump administration every single day. He has had an oversize role in advocating in policies that he hopes will bring down the Cuban regime. His Cuba-focused approach was a major driver behind the Maduro's ouster, which he hoped would create a domino effect toward regime change in Cuba.

No problem. His objectives with regard to Cuba are perfectly aligned with the objectives of the U.S. Win-win.

Why do the Jewish Congress people want it?

It's probably the same reason

NP

It always comes down to the Jews for some people. Smdh.

Just for the antisemites, whose voices get louder as their loyalty to Palestinian terror culture becomes more and more difficult to sustain as support for them shrinks just like Gaza.

2/3's of Congress should be kicked out given their principal allegiance is to Israel.

Anti-semite says what?

(and no, I'm not Jewish)

NP. Huh? Saying that we should put America before our allegiance to Israel is anti-Semitic? What the F?

U.S. and Israeli goals are aligned. Both want a permanent end to seemingly endless Palestinian terrorism, dependence on global welfare, and perpetuation of a culture of grievance which is only addressed through violence.

Objecting to only Israel's efforts in that direction is patently antisemitic unless you're equally anti-U.S.

They are aligned with the objectives of the current Trump administration, not with the objectives of the preceding Biden or Obama administrations, Trump doesn't personally GAF about Cuba. You best believe that Mario whispers in his ear every second he gets to influence Trump's foreign policy as it relates to Cuba. As SoS, Rubio has exerted significant influence, for example directly approving the re-creation of the Cuba Restricted List, pushing for maximum economic pressure, and openly signaling support for regime change in Havana. I don't think US policy on Cuba would have been quite that aggressive if Rubio were not SoS. But since you're okay with this, I'm sure you'll be okay with the next government official/presidential advisor under a Democratic president who advocates aggressively for the country of his parents/grandparents birth.

I'm not a supporter - maybe lukewarm. But Omar as more integrity in her pinky than any AIPAC or politician sucking at the teet of Israel money.

So, less pro- Omar and more anti-Israel.

Right. That's basically what I said.

I'm here to help! Can't let your bigoted posts lose their impact from too many filler words.

Oh no, I criticized Israel and you think I'm a bigot! My feelings are soooooo hurt.

Exactly, being Israel first is equivalent to America first just as being anti-Israel is the same as anti-US

Regardless of politics, she was ready to kick that guy’s ass into another dimension. Good for her. That’s how women should respond to disgusting men who try to harm them. MAGA women take note.

You mean, both oppose terrorism and violence? Both are opposed to militant proxies funded by Iran? Both are democracies? Both are pluralistic societies? Correct on all counts. Speaking of killing, raping, and kidnapping, Oct 7 seems to be suggestive of which regime we're speaking of in that context.

Don't forget to add that both like to kill terrorists, and are good at it.

No denial of those facts, though? Must take an incredible amount of concentration to avoid addressing facts with a straight face.
