I recently retired at the age of 52 as a software engineer after 10 years from Apple, 5 years from Intel, and 12 years from Amazon. I have 35M in 401K and stock options from those companies. I am going to get myself a hot 20s gf/wife with an ironclad prenup to protect myself. Not every man in his 50s is struggling financially.

the best part is your complete lack of awareness of just how unappealing you are. retired 52 yo software engineer plotting a prenup. hahahaha.

i am your age (married for a long time), somehow still generating passionate interest in men, and you wouldn't get a second of my attention.

He doesn’t want your attention. You are too old.

I’ve seen quite a few of these relationships with mid 50s men and it’s bleak. Old men creaking around trying to be active fathers to young toddlers yikes. Although I don’t know their prenup situation, I doubt any attractive young woman would go for it. They know they have options.

These are poor mid 50s men.
Attractive young women go for the rich old man. Trump was 58 when he married 35 yo Malania. That’s a very typical example.

When analyzing first marriages, men on the Forbes list marry women about 7 years younger.
When analyzing second marriages, men on the Forbes list marry women who are on average 22 years younger.

Ok, maybe I'll state it differently. A conventionally attractive woman with a degree that enables her to make her own money wouldn't date a 20-30 years older man. I have female acquaintances who married much older divorced men. They all either had issues with money, or were lovely girls overall but had something unusual in the looks that wasn't popular with the men in their own age group. Things like height over 6', manly looking, somewhat matronly looking etc. Unfortunately looks are important for women, and lack of such would make woman seek older partners for marriage. I feel bad saying that being a woman on female forum but that's just inconvenient truth.

I don't know any pretty career girls marrying older men. A stunning woman who makes 600K in client relationships at Goldman is likely engaged or married to a younger man of similar status.

That’s true. But these pretty career women are 6/10 at best. Attractive but not “top model” beautiful.

Top models date and marry younger men. Usually athletes.

I mean, how pretty is Hilaria Baldwin ? She’s ok but again, maybe some would call her pretty but nothing close to Kim who was stunning at that same age.

The younger new wives are usually less attractive than the first wives (corrected by age).

First the Forbs lis is not indicative of overall statistics. Second that same article states that wealthy women on average marry younger men (4 years younger). DCUM tends to be wealthy divorced women forum so posts here describing them dating younger men are largely true.
Third I would question the beauty of many young brides and wives of uber wealthy men beginning with Larry Ellison.
So they got a wet P..y what’s special about it ?

That's a perfect example. That's exactly the kind of person who thinks about relationships in this way. "What can I get from this person?" Everything in their world is transactional... and they get "fulfillment" from a Hermes bag. (That's a reference of a different thread.)
