| I’ve never stepped foot in a Costco, so I have no idea what it tastes like. I’d probably eat it! |
I was going to say same but I did once go to Costco with a friends mom in HS and I got soft serve chocolate frozen yogurt. I really enjoyed it! |
Aww, you tried your best to troll but you came up with…this. |
| I've had Costco pizza at a couple kids' birthdays recently and I can't complain. That pizza is solid. |
| If my husband didn't bleed money, I wouldnt have to work 60 hours a week, in which case I might enjoy cooking. But ya, we do Costco or Whole Foods and I give it 2 minutes of thought which is all I can spare. |
You ok? |
| Costco appetizers are fine. But dinner should either be cooked or catered. Don't embarrass yourself or husband be in the safe side and do catering. |
+ 1 I’ll pass on the pinwheel sandwich tray. |
Sorry, no. When I host I serve good food. If it mimics a work party a la The Office, no thanks. |
The shrimp cocktail, croissant sandwich, clamshell of cookies, fruit platter. It's so familiar. |
| Presentation can make a big difference. Ask your husband to replate everything. If he doesn’t want to do that, then be up front about increasing the budget for better catering. |

A mix is fine when it comes to parties with friends. If they are parents I don’t expect to have home cooked everything. I’m happy to just be invited and see my friends.
I think it’s pretty normal to have something like: - appetizers - chips and dip, fruit, charcuterie - entree and side cooked - bought dessert Ideally the guest should offer to bring either a side or a dessert and drinks |
| Fine with me. I don’t care. |
| I always do catering from a small catering business - there are a lot of people who have small businesses who can make amazing food and it’s not very expensive. People really do enjoy having good food at parties… |
I expect what they serve and am grateful to have been invited. |
