No. But the suspect is described as "male" (to the surprise of absolutely no one)

This country is getting crazy each day

It’s disgusting my reply was deleted. We KNOW this was a male shooter likely majoring in engineering. It’s very like Virginia Tech, where another unstable and entitled no empathy young man took his failures out on peers and professors.

We need UK style, Australia style, gun laws.

Thank you.

Campus safety is often discussed on this page. As is “woke” teaching. As is DEI. Many political topics are relevant to college choice/life. Guns need to stop getting a pass.

Speaking of, college campus safety are completely useless.

No

Everyone is still sheltering in place.

I’d bet anything that the same people saying “don’t politicize this” are the ones who complain about “woke” campuses and DEI.

My kid is on Brown EMS and is working. 😢

I am so very sorry, they should never get a call like this. Prayers for their safety and mental health following.

God bless your son. I am praying for every student at Brown right now and for their families. Cannot imagine their fear and anguish.

There are a lot of parents waiting for the children to come home for the holidays. You want to tell us all that we aren't allowed to talk to each other as parents? We have to put on our red and blue ties and talk about politics?

Go F yourself

People can hold multiple thoughts at once, shocker. We can be heartbroken and at the same time feel deep frustration with Republicans for their prioritizing guns over children.

-1000 . If my kid were at Brown right now and President Trump decided to at this second sign an executive order banning assault rifles, I’d be thrilled for our country and scared for my kid simultaneously.

Daughter just texted and the shooter is still at large. Police have barely anything. She is so, so, so scared.

Right. Because mass shootings never happen outside.
