Same. This is a fairly common experience.

People saying to take Tylenol are either sadistically trolling, or plain evil.

Tylenol is hard on the liver, and combinding it with ethanol can be very harmful and even deadly.

I honestly don’t think Tylenol, when taken according to label instructions, is going to blow out your liver if you have had 2.5 drinks.

If you do it frequently and the amount you drink creeps up … yeah not good. My doctor once told me Tylenol is the most dangerous med most people take and that it would never be approved by the FDA today.

Hmm is this Dr oz or Dr RFK jr?

This is actually true. The issue that would likely prevent Tylenol being approved for OTC today is that the therapeutic dose is so close to the dangerous dose. It’s well inside the margin of error for normal OTC drugs these days. Would likely be prescription only.

I find Zbiotics surprisingly effective.

Did not read all the replies but IME the trick is to hydrate very well BEFORE you drink. So, lots of extra water the whole day of. Better yet, an electrolyte drink or two in the afternoon (liquid IV or similar).

And if you are eating a meal, should have some starch like bread.

That all being said, very normal to have less tolerance in your 40s. I’m also in my 40s and don’t drink much anymore.
