For some types of work, such as IT or STEM, that is true. Good luck recruiting a Cisco CCIE for what a GS-2210-11 makes.

It's only going to get worse. Many people accepted the lower salaries because of the pension and the stability. Trump has destroyed that, so the government will need to pay at least market or perhaps even a premium.

LOL! No!

People would still flock to government jobs because you get paid for working 1-2 hours a day.

Name the job and agency. You’re full of it.

The IRS.

My son works as a contractor for the Social Security Administration (SSA), and he is getting paid 200K/yr. He only works at most two hours every day.

You complained about govt jobs where employees work 1-2 hours a day yet you described a contractor. Do you not understand the difference?

If a contractor works 1-2 hours a day, a fed works even less.

How is that possible? I am statistician who works 50hrs/week and barely make $105k/year.

I am a fed in cybersecurity for a government agency, and I am making 270K/yr in salary. That's a very competitive salary.

So a contracting company is committing fraud

Employee is committing fraud. They could be criminally prosecuted.
