How is it fraud? I mean when I worked big 4 I be on several clients at same time. I bill hours but not give specific times. Maybe same thing. And guess what 25 years was a website called slideshow which had tons of books in form of a PowerPoint. I recall consultants used to pre smart phones hit print, shove it in folder at client and read a book when no work. I studied my CPA at a client. They don’t give you enough work in 2025 people just do a second job. How is that different jogging, cooking, doing laundry, watching Netflix on downtime when WFH? |
Have you ever heard of CISA pay? Folks at CISA or SEC make that kind of money. |
There are specialists who can make more than the GS cap. Physicians come to mind. |
Some FINREG jobs in the excepted civil service, rather than the competitive civil service, do jot use the GS pay scale and pay much more than a GS-15/10 - sometimes more than an SES-3.
One tradeoff is that jobs in the excepted civil service have no job protections. They are even outside the purview of the MSPB. One can be terminated with no notice and without giving a cause. |
This is false. Excepted service is a hiring authority - it has nothing to do with how you are fired. After probation ends you have the same protections as competitive service does, including the MSPB. |

That’s what Bongino used to lie about on his podcasts before becoming a government worker. Now he is all over FOX News whining about how hard he has to work and he doesn’t like it, not one bit. |
