College and University Discussion
| The US is a dumpster fire, laughed at the world over. All US institutions have lost respect and clout. All branches of government, education, health are corrupt and terminal. The partisan stuff is a distraction and a joke. Look at the nonsense wedding going on in Venice this weekend. It keeps everyone up in arms worrying over their perceived ideological enemy. Oprah and Ivanka having a great time together. Red or blue, north or south, urban or rural, it’s all a silly dichotomized joke. America is corrupt. Trump is a Hegelian world historical individual just like Napoleon. History is unstable and Trump is merely an unwitting fool in this inevitability. Please stop hating each other and work on learning how to live a deeply diminished America. As I said, history teaches us that it’s inevitable and unstoppable. Trump or not Trump. |
These are different theys. |
You sound utterly unhinged and in need of serious help. For starters, I’m neither “MAGA” nor am I an evangelical. I question Trump’s actions all the time! Your assumptions about anyone who dares to call YOU out on your hysterical rantings are almost amusing. As for your last sentence - wtaf? Being against DEI is absolutely about “treating everyone nicely regardless of their background.” That’s the whole point. It’s not about treating certain people *better* than others. You seem very confused. |
You’re proving the point with every one of your idiotic posts. I’m embarrassed for you at this point. |
Oh, the irony!
|
Wonder which right wing pro Israeli will replace him? |
It's to counter the very rampant racism that still exists in America which has resulted in some minority groups being treated worse. |
Sure. Whatever you say. At this point, it’s wisest to just smile and nod. There is no rational discussion to be had with people who are foaming at the mouth and spewing nonsense. |
Ok which talking point did I use in my one and only message? |
Um… |
So you're literally just delusional. Morgan Wallen and Papa John had the n word in their vocabularies because they totally respect minorites and never say anything awful about them. |
Nope. Enough, already. Time to treat everyone as equals. |
NP: There is a big difference between giving people preference for jobs and admissions (which I agree went too far) and calling other adults by childish nicknames, lying, and discriminating against minority groups. Everyone, particularly the President, should be better than that. You are OK with the names he calls people? And don't say "he's just joking." He is the President. If it is behavior I don't want a kid in elementary school to engage in, then it is behavior the president shouldn't engage in. The rest of the world thinks we are a joke. We are not winning. We are losing. World politics is different than stiffing a contractor (which he did repeatedly - how do you feel about that?). Please specify the ways in which you question him on material things. I am still waiting for one person to do so. America was far from perfect under Biden. But this is not the way to create change. And this is not the man to do so. But making us squirm brings you such joy. How about having diplomatic conversations to figure out adult way to solve problems? But that's not nearly as fun! |
Who? |
You can't "treat everyone as equals" when there are millions of Americans that implicitly see anyone who isn't white as lesser and give them less preferential treatment. The people most vocal about the end of DEI are the same ones regurgitating borderline 1940s germany level rhetoric on twitter. |
