We told you he’s coming for ALL colleges when everyone was gloating about the Ivies getting hit.

DEI, anti-Semitism:
“These are all smokescreens. Trump views colleges as his political enemies, so he is doing everything he can to tear them down. That may be because college graduates overwhelmingly voted for his Democratic opponent, or because college professors produce the research that undermines his baseless claims about everything from climate change to tax cuts. Or he may be influenced by a branch of conservative evangelicals who believe that they need to take over education and other realms.

With Trump, the simplest answer is often the most likely. After winning the Nevada Republican caucuses in 2016 due to support from people who never went to college, he infamously proclaimed, "I love the poorly educated." He's now doing his best to ensure more Americans fit that description.”

As a proud parent of a recent UVA graduate, I'm absolutely furious at this move, which constitutes "the first time the administration has pushed a university to remove its leader."

The process is apparently being led by a federal lawyer who is a UVA grad: "The demand to remove Mr. Ryan was made over the past month on several occasions by Gregory Brown, the deputy assistant attorney general for civil rights, to university officials and representatives, according to the three people briefed on the matter. Mr. Brown, a University of Virginia graduate who, as a private lawyer, sued the school, is taking a major role in the investigation."

I wish we could agree that schools shouldn’t be ANYONE’s political enemy and vice versa, but that’s not the case anymore in today’s climate, is it???
Higher education repeatedly declares its collective political affiliation by establishing frameworks that align with and act as an extension of ONLY one party. And then they encourage students to shut down any dissenting viewpoint by introducing censorship disguised in Orwellian buzzwords. We can’t even have ideological debates on college campuses without colleges being accused of the sin of “platforming” unapproved ideas that go against the far left. They’ve created a a new leftist religion that we must all worship, and they call for inclusion even though they don’t mean that at all. “Silly conservatives—Inclusion is for people who think like we do—and we don’t actual value diversity unless you share our exact opinions and worldview. If you don’t then it’s fine for me to hurl insulting epithets at you and call you an Uncle Tom.”
It’s exhausting.

What, if anything, do you know about DEI at UVA? Also, what do you think about the fact that this is the first time the DOJ has demanded a university president resign?

DP. Don't send your kid to UVA or anywhere else you think practices what you are describing. Easy peasy. Send them to a MAGA-approved college.

Here's a list of schools where MAGA students will be protected from "DEI" and "woke" ideas:

*Liberty University
*Bob Jones University

*Hillsdale College (MI): Doesn’t accept federal/state money, is a nucleus of classical, Western‑canon education, and has been influential with Trump advisers and DeSantis

*Grove City College (PA): Also refuses federal funding and emphasizes faith and traditional values

*Franciscan University of Steubenville (OH)

*BYU (Provo and Idaho)

*Maranatha Baptist

*Texas Wesleyan

Poor white person in Alabama or Texas or South Dakota or wherever else: how are these attacks on elite universities helping to give you a job, put food on your table, keep you healthy, etc.?

These people are so stupid. They worship at the throne of a false idol because Fox News tells them to. But "winning" against the libs is all they care about, so this makes them feel good.

I hate what has happened to this country.
