Doj pressuring UVA to fire it's president

Honestly I don’t think Trump gives a shit about the universities. It’s the dumpster diving trash that worship Trump and are aligned with Project 2025 bullshit. They desire a disgusting dystopia where ugly, weird little white men rule over every type of person that made them feel insecure. They hide behind Trump pushing garbage down everyone’s throats.

Amen. Perfectly said. White trash nation. Being led by a huckster from Queens. It's like a horror movie.

DEI, anti-Semitism:
“These are all smokescreens. Trump views colleges as his political enemies, so he is doing everything he can to tear them down. That may be because college graduates overwhelmingly voted for his Democratic opponent, or because college professors produce the research that undermines his baseless claims about everything from climate change to tax cuts. Or he may be influenced by a branch of conservative evangelicals who believe that they need to take over education and other realms.

With Trump, the simplest answer is often the most likely. After winning the Nevada Republican caucuses in 2016 due to support from people who never went to college, he infamously proclaimed, "I love the poorly educated." He's now doing his best to ensure more Americans fit that description.”

I wish we could agree that schools shouldn’t be ANYONE’s political enemy and vice versa, but that’s not the case anymore in today’s climate, is it???
Higher education repeatedly declares its collective political affiliation by establishing frameworks that align with and act as an extension of ONLY one party. And then they encourage students to shut down any dissenting viewpoint by introducing censorship disguised in Orwellian buzzwords. We can’t even have ideological debates on college campuses without colleges being accused of the sin of “platforming” unapproved ideas that go against the far left. They’ve created a a new leftist religion that we must all worship, and they call for inclusion even though they don’t mean that at all. “Silly conservatives—Inclusion is for people who think like we do—and we don’t actual value diversity unless you share our exact opinions and worldview. If you don’t then it’s fine for me to hurl insulting epithets at you and call you an Uncle Tom.”
It’s exhausting.

DP. Don't send your kid to UVA or anywhere else you think practices what you are describing. Easy peasy. Send them to a MAGA-approved college.

You sold me when i read "easy peasy".

Glad to hear it. So where did you study? Where did/will your kid study?

DP. Don't be an idiot. You don't have to be MAGA to agree with the points the PP is making.

Conservatives left. It wasn’t liberal coercion. Conservatives decided to abandon their intellectual wing to grifters like Jordan Peterson and Tucker Carlson. Conservatives today don’t even know who Edmund Burke is, but instead prop up any anti establishment figure. You can’t whine about meritocracy when you aren’t even attempting to get into the club. Republicans teach their kids that school is indoctrination and college is a scam, and then wonder why their kids aren’t represented in academia.

Bingo. Education is one of the Seven Mountains of dominionist theology, over which Christians must have influence.

Yes, life was so much better when it was weaponized by Joe & Kamala & the rest of that administration’s geniuses to protect Hunter, harass Catholics, keep a close eye on schoolchildren’s parents, & make sure protesters were able to threaten Supreme Court justices at their homes.

I must say Jimbo should halve his salary and donate it to worthy accepted students.
