Trump is putting all the cheap nannies, gardeners, and maids in gulags!! |
and you are so naive to believe anything this administration says after tens of thousands of documented lies |
Cato said that. Not Trump. |
his actions are similar to those of Hitler pre-WWII - attacking and removing the intellectuals, creating "an other" to castigate and blame for the country's woes - all lies in the same of fomenting division and anger while he takes advantage of it to his consolidation of power. No, he will not rule the world, that is Putin's goal, and Trump is his lapdog. |
Trump is a Eugenist and racist. He shares this belief. Don't be naive. If you are of color in the US, you should be concerned. |
Who says nannies are not being paid a decent wage? |
CATO is a right leaning actual organization with integrity. There reports have actual footnotes and sourcing, unlike the MAHA reports from the White House. |
Provide “there” evidence via link, let’s see it. |
I think Trump knows how things are with immigrants in the rest of the world. In Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle east, you are not a citizen if your parents and grandparents are not from that country and theres no "family name/ancestral roots" in the country. Immigrants and their kids are never naturalized citizens. |
At least 50 Venezuelan men sent by the Trump administration to a prison in El Salvador had entered the United States legally, according to a review by the Cato Institute. The report, published by the libertarian thinktank on Monday, analyzed the available immigration data for only a portion of the men who were deported to El Salvador’s notorious Terrorism Confinement Center (Cecot), and focuses on the cases where records could be found. “The government calls them all ‘illegal aliens.’ But of the 90 cases where the method of crossing is known, 50 men report that they came legally to the United States, with advanced US government permission, at an official border crossing point,” Cato said in its report. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/19/el-salvador-prison-migrants-us-report The Cato Institute is generally considered a libertarian think tank, though it also embraces elements of both conservative and left-wing political movements. While it leans towards promoting free markets and limited government, which are often associated with the right, it also supports policies like drug legalization and police reform, which are more aligned with the left. Ultimately, the Cato Institute is best described as non-partisan and independent. So provide your evidence about these men, provide sources and links. |
50+ Venezuelans Imprisoned in El Salvador Came to US Legally, Never Violated Immigration Law
https://www.cato.org/blog/50-venezuelans-imprisoned-el-salvador-came-us-legally-never-violated-immigration-law Given the total lack of transparency by the federal government, we have compiled what the families of the men themselves are reporting about their entries and what likely triggered their incarceration in El Salvador. The government calls them all “illegal aliens.” But of the 90 cases where the method of crossing is known, 50 men report that they came legally to the United States, with advanced US government permission, at an official border crossing point. So we are going to take the word of the men?? That’s exactly what the hysteria is based upon. Self reporting. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 |
So, Trump — who has 4 kids with immigrant mothers, and, who had an immigrant mother himself, would be ineligible for citizenship himself with a system like this. He’d probably do exemptions for children of white fathers . |
You kind of blew your argument by speculating that Trump knows something. |
hire some US citizens and pay them fair wages is it really that hard to understand? maybe do something good and hire some African Amercians. |
We want our children to be bilingual. We want desperate women who are hiding from ICE to be at our whim. We want housecleaning and childcare at bargain prices. Modern problems require modern solutions. |
