These people are horrific.

HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU SAY THIS????

See at least 50 of the men, imprisoned (imprisoned!!!!) in a Salvadoran jail. They were here legally! They committed no crimes. They are accused of no crimes. They have said nothing anti-semitic.

shocking

“The government calls them all ‘illegal aliens.’ But of the 90 cases where the method of crossing is known, 50 men report that they came legally to the United States, with advanced US government permission, at an official border crossing point,” Cato wrote in its report.

So the 50 men you referenced have self-reported that they came to the US legally? And you are so naive to believe that if those men came to the US illegally, they would admit to committing a crime?

and you are so naive to believe anything this administration says after tens of thousands of documented lies

It's complex. His supporters are nationalists. A lot of anger resides in this country esp among the have nots and uneducated because the wealth gap is huge. Prices today are truly nuts on all fronts. So he's anti DEI as a platform.

Personally I think he's just idiotic enough to believe being isolationist is the way to go. He's satisfying his political alliances and I think he prob does on some level feel that the US is capable of standing alone as he is so arrogant. So put these themes together and you have someone who wants white America - the nationalist kind - to be the only ones who dictate anything.

It is scary. I do not agree with the belief he's like Hitler in terms of copying his actions. He's not ambitious enough to rule the world but just arrogant enough to believe that he can ignore diversity and globalism that's modern society. A lot of it though may be driven by who he surrounds himself with AKA Miller. I actually think Elon is out of his mind as well in a lot of ways even if he's not flat out v diversity.

his actions are similar to those of Hitler pre-WWII - attacking and removing the intellectuals, creating "an other" to castigate and blame for the country's woes - all lies in the same of fomenting division and anger while he takes advantage of it to his consolidation of power. No, he will not rule the world, that is Putin's goal, and Trump is his lapdog.

My thing with him v Hitler is that Hitlers objective was to create a global Aryan society - he believed that whites were supreme biologically. I think T suffers more from arrogance and stupidity in that he's after personal power and is more manipulated by others than most believe. When you're that arrogant it's not that hard to be controlled. PM of Canada could walk all over him if he wanted - you have to push the right buttons and I think T is actually so weak that he's surrounded himself by crazies who know how to push their own agenda. I actually don't give T as much power as most. It's who he attracts and allies with who are no good - T is a branding and marketing genius but he's not much more than that. Elon used him and many are sure to do same.

Trump is a Eugenist and racist. He shares this belief. Don't be naive. If you are of color in the US, you should be concerned.

An invisible workforce’
Catalina’s mother has raised her children alone and dedicated part of her life to childcare, a sector facing a deep staffing crisis—one that has worsened in recent months, as experts say immigrants are essential to sustaining it.

“The childcare sector broadly has long been facing a crisis and a shortage of workers. And immigrant workers are critical to keeping that system running. Both the formal sector and the informal sector,” Wendy Cervantes, director of Immigration and Immigrant Families at the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP), tells CNN.

According to a report from the National Women’s Law Center, 20% of early educators in the US – an umbrella term encompassing preschool teachers, home-based childcare providers, teachers aids and program directors – are immigrants. Women make up “a significant percentage” of the workforce in this sector nationwide.

“Care work is the work that makes all other work possible and enables all families to thrive,” the report says. However, caregivers face low wages, lack of benefits, vulnerability to exploitation, and job insecurity. Undocumented workers, for their part, also lack basic labor rights and protections.

Orange Hitler wants to take away my undocumented, cheap nanny!
He’s a nazi!!

He’s not smart or fashionable enough to be an actual Nazi, but the both of you sure are stupid and horrible people.

Sorry taking care of your own children is so awful for you.

Or paying a nanny a decent, living wage is so terrible.

Who says nannies are not being paid a decent wage?

CATO is a right leaning actual organization with integrity. There reports have actual footnotes and sourcing, unlike the MAHA reports from the White House.

I think Trump knows how things are with immigrants in the rest of the world. In Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle east, you are not a citizen if your parents and grandparents are not from that country and theres no "family name/ancestral roots" in the country. Immigrants and their kids are never naturalized citizens.

At least 50 Venezuelan men sent by the Trump administration to a prison in El Salvador had entered the United States legally, according to a review by the Cato Institute.

The report, published by the libertarian thinktank on Monday, analyzed the available immigration data for only a portion of the men who were deported to El Salvador’s notorious Terrorism Confinement Center (Cecot), and focuses on the cases where records could be found.

“The government calls them all ‘illegal aliens.’ But of the 90 cases where the method of crossing is known, 50 men report that they came legally to the United States, with advanced US government permission, at an official border crossing point,” Cato said in its report.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/19/el-salvador-prison-migrants-us-report

The Cato Institute is generally considered a libertarian think tank, though it also embraces elements of both conservative and left-wing political movements. While it leans towards promoting free markets and limited government, which are often associated with the right, it also supports policies like drug legalization and police reform, which are more aligned with the left. Ultimately, the Cato Institute is best described as non-partisan and independent.

So provide your evidence about these men, provide sources and links.

50+ Venezuelans Imprisoned in El Salvador Came to US Legally, Never Violated Immigration Law

https://www.cato.org/blog/50-venezuelans-imprisoned-el-salvador-came-us-legally-never-violated-immigration-law

Given the total lack of transparency by the federal government, we have compiled what the families of the men themselves are reporting about their entries and what likely triggered their incarceration in El Salvador.

The government calls them all “illegal aliens.” But of the 90 cases where the method of crossing is known, 50 men report that they came legally to the United States, with advanced US government permission, at an official border crossing point.

So we are going to take the word of the men??

That’s exactly what the hysteria is based upon. Self reporting.

So, Trump — who has 4 kids with immigrant mothers, and, who had an immigrant mother himself, would be ineligible for citizenship himself with a system like this. He’d probably do exemptions for children of white fathers .

You kind of blew your argument by speculating that Trump knows something.

We want our children to be bilingual. We want desperate women who are hiding from ICE to be at our whim. We want housecleaning and childcare at bargain prices.

Modern problems require modern solutions.
