Would you report a new neighbor who keeps parking two wheels on their front lawn?

I’m amused by all the people who accuse others of lowering the tone while themselves using the word “trashy.”

You really don’t get how low class trash tearing up their front lawn and parking on the grass brings down the optics of the neighborhood?

Oh, no! Not the optics!!! How awful.

We get it, you’re an apartment dweller. Go run along now and pray for a housing bubble.

Most apartments in NYC are worth far more than your banal suburban house.

It’s not her yard. Read the OP. This has nothing to do with her.

Not that there is anything wrong with living in an apartment anyway. Karen is just showing her true colors by looking down on people who have done nothing to her.

Yes, I would report it if there's an ordinance. People should follow the ordinances, as they are designed to make it a pleasant place to live.

Imagine being bothered by something like this!! You and OP have serious issues you need to deal with.

You live in an apt and/or have never owned a home in a premier neighborhood.

MYOB. My dad is very ill and a lot of people have serious stuff going on in their lives. You do not. Be thankful for that. Stop worrying about 2 tires on the grass. One day you may have something serious to worry about and this won't be it.

An excellent thread for attracting the snobs of DCUM.

You should only report it, OP, if you sign your name to the complaint. Stand by your principles.

Nope. Just not a Karen like you.

I'm sorry we can't all be as rich, as wonderful and as high klass as you, dear.

Nope, it’s all the snobs. All it takes to scratch the surface is two tires on the grass.

Many things neighbors do "look trashy". Leaving christmas lights up year round, going too long between mows, having 4+ vehicles in a driveway, political signs, leaving trash cans at the curb for too long.

If you want it policed, join an HOA. Otherwise, live and let live.

I will take Christmas lights (like red and green? or just white fairy lights?) any day over parking on the grass.

Cute vs trashy. As for two tires on the grass, they could just pave their driveway three lanes wide and park tons of cars! Someone did that a few streets over for their extra high-end cars, go figure!

+1. We paved over half of our front yard to accommodate our kids’ cars.

I paved over my entire front and back yard and have cars parked everywhere. My yard is a giant parking lot. Not trashy at all!

Our neighbors did this and call it a motor court. It was done tastefully with pavers and landscaping. Frankly, I envy their parking capacity. Our neighborhoof doesn't allow overnight street parking.
