Would you report a new neighbor who keeps parking two wheels on their front lawn?

Using a home as a financial investment is the trashiest thing. Get a job if you want money.

Many things neighbors do "look trashy". Leaving christmas lights up year round, going too long between mows, having 4+ vehicles in a driveway, political signs, leaving trash cans at the curb for too long.

If you want it policed, join an HOA. Otherwise, live and let live.

I will take Christmas lights (like red and green? or just white fairy lights?) any day over parking on the grass.

Cute vs trashy. As for two tires on the grass, they could just pave their driveway three lanes wide and park tons of cars! Someone did that a few streets over for their extra high-end cars, go figure!

Move and find a house with a HOA. Otherwise MYOB. Can’t imagine caring about this at all.

I hope they put a car rear seat on their lawn as lawn furniture.

No, I wouldn't do anything.
But then also, I detest HOAs and would never buy in a neighborhood with an HOA.

How does it make the ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD look worse, exactly?

So far, they are illegally parking about half of their car on the grass so their other cars can get in and out of garage and driveway. It's turning into a 3 to 5 times a week thing. Report them now or let two wheels slide, however, if they ever park the entire car, all four wheels, to the side of the paved driveway, then take a photo and report them?

This causes a front lawn's grass to erode with car tracks, which makes the entire neighborhood look worse. And honestly, it looks trashy.

I don't want to talk to them about it because then they'll know it was us if we report them later. We have no relationship with them outside of waves once in a while.

Why would you report them?

What will the town do ---- nothing.

Why would you start a war?

If I worked for the town and happened to answer the phone when you called to complain I would laugh out loud.

You really don’t get how low class trash tearing up their front lawn and parking on the grass brings down the optics of the neighborhood?

Fixed that for you.

No, I had it right. Do you look in the mirror and see just how trashy you are?

maybe, but you sure a Karen.

Actually, I'm lovely and not a Karen because I don't put myself into position where I have to deal with people like you. And anytime I have had an issue (or someone has had an issue with me) we always talk like adults to resolve whatever it is. But I believe in being a considerate neighbor. I wouldn't do anything to lessen the value of our neighborhood, which parking in the yard absolutely does.

Having to juggle cars to get to the garage lowers the value of the neighborhood.

Are you a realtor? How would you know that, pp?

They will warn them and then ticket them. They can ticket them immediately if they want. It's against the local law.

I am a local official and we wouldn't do anything. Honestly. We only get involved when its a serious issue.

You’re either a troll or low information. Many communities ticket for this. Here’s a Reddit thread from two years ago:
