Many don't allow it until 21+. Just wait until your kid has a flight cancelled (When they have connecting flights) and are stuck somewhere and no hotels will allow checkin---took me calling 10+ hotels a few years ago before I found one near DTW that allowed it---and I had to fax over a signed authorization form for the Manager to allow it). Also had a kid driving back to school encountered a snowstorm (think 2ft+ coming down) and 3 hotels at that exit would not let them check in. Despite me authorizing it over the phone (kid has their own CC). |
