Are they allowed to visit the Cincinnati Zoo or attend a Cubs game or purchase a Grand Slam breakfast at Denny’s while they’re here? I mean, they were not admitted to this country for any of those purposes, as well, so … but, I digress.

Anyway, I feel the same about anyone with dual citizenship. If someone cannot fully disavow loyalty to another state, seems reasonable enough to eject them. Regardless the other country.

All of them: gone, tout de suite, please and thank you.

DP: I actually think dual citizens should be banned from holding federal office, attaining a security clearance, or being able to donate to electoral campaigns or any issue-based campaign that touches politics (ie, no PAC donations).

If Democrats ran on this, they’d win.

Huh? Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Many dual citizens (like me and my DH, for example, who have European parents) are dual citizens because they have parents from two different countries. Ted Cruz, for example, was born in Canada to an American mother and Cuban father. He is a senator and also ran for president. Henry Kissinger was born in Germany and became a naturalized US citizen, as an adult and you can bet that he had a security clearance. Elon Musk, the real president, is the biggest political donor ever and is a citizen of three countries (South Africa, Canada, and the US).

Notwithstanding your history lesson, I would argue that all of those examples should have been expected to permanently renounce their citizenship in other nations before being allowed within a country mile of the levers of our government. And yeah, I understand that some countries don’t recognize citizens renouncing citizenship. Don’t care - I’d still require it HERE.

Anyway, the three examples you gave … wow … probably the best examples of loading an opponent’s quiver for them that I’ve ever seen … you think citing Kissinger, Ted Cruz and Elon Musk is a strong argument for dual citizens serving at the highest levels of our gov’t?

NGL, that website is so bad - just listing a bunch of celebrities - that I suspect it was setup by the Canary Mission itself to make supporters of Palestine look like hapless idiots.

Apparently Canary Mission is not the only entity that is doxxing individuals who protest Israel--and, importantly, bringing them to the attention of ICE. There's also:

*Betar US, who claimed the Turkish student abducted off the street in Massachusetts recently "was on our list."

*Accuracy in Media, which drives around "doxxing" trucks on college campuses displaying digital photos of students it dubs "anti-semites." (The group was founded in the Vietnam era to promote pro-US involvement in Vietnam and supports issues such as opposition to the scientific consensus on climate change, promoting the Vince Foster conspiracy theory, and accusing the media of "exaggerating" the COVID epidemic.)

They are allegedly providing Trump and Miller with names of people to deport if they’ve expressed any anti-Israel or pro-Palestinian sentiments.

Allegedly they want the Trump administration to go after US citizens next.

I mean, it’s crazy that a foreign government-aligned organization is telling the federal government who to arrest.

Are Americans aware they exist?

I can't wait to see how MAGAs try to spin this

Shame on them.

Do you always generalize about entire populations of people, or just Jews?

Like do you think all Muslims are Jihadist terrorists?

All Catholics ok with child molestation by priests?

Or is it just when talking about Jews ….

Not the PP but I'm going to say I'm done with religion overall. Look at all the so called christians that follow and defend a rapist and convicted felon who has a major cruel streak-would Jesus apporive?. I think it's all BS and hypocritical. Go to church on Sunday be cruel and intolerant M-S-amen.

The woman abducted in Boston did not organize protests. The only thing she did was co-author an op-ed for Tufts student newspaper and that got her added to Canary Mission's hit list.

Here is the article she wrote. I see nothing "pro Hamas" in it:

https://www.tuftsdaily.com/article/2024/03/4ftk27sm6jkj

Of course, I am willing to hear if the federal government has more information that is non-public. But they need to do that in a court of law, instead of sending her to some gulag in Louisiana.

This is the most terrifying part. They don’t need to show proof to anyone. They can say a random soccer player is a gang banger or someone is a terrorist threat and people have no recourse to prove they are innocent. And MAGAs are too dense to realize that it’s not going to stop with “those” people. And those of us who dare question any of this are told we are pro gang members, etc. There is a lawful way to deport people. But this isn’t about deporting people, it’s about sending a message to the public that you best keep your head down.

Yup...decent and intelligent Americans should be truly scared. We are heading back to 1933 right here in American the land of the "free". RESIST!

Those same intolerant, racist, “Christians” (who hilariously happen to be the least Christ-like people you could ever encounter) are the exact same radical, extremist Zionists who enthusiastically support Israel’s war crimes and generally malevolent conduct.

Evangelicals, born again Christians, the usual suspects …

An interesting read:

“A Jewish organization working to combat antisemitism has unveiled an alternative to the Trump administration's plan that cracks down on foreign students and free speech on college campuses.”

There is nothing in the Constitution that bars non citizens from peaceful assembly or denying them free speech

You are a deplorable MAGA.

Israel has been controlling US politics for decades. It's interesting that Bernie Sanders has the guts to speak against Israel.

Oh, for Pete's sake. There is one far-right Jewish organization that lists students who are anti-Israel. It's ICE that goes around taking people into custody.
Perhaps if the universities had acted to enforce their own time, place, and manner restrictions on peaceful protest, they would not be facing federal punishments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID-13ZY1DWM
