So taxes are not supporting just rich frequent flyers. They are supporting global trade and a decent chunk of our GDP.

And the rich people who make money off that trade. Meanwhile ATC are underpaid and overworked. This industry is highly subsidize by the US government. At what point does the government get out of the business and let the airlines pay the full cost?

There is no reason for the government to get out of the business. The government should be in charge of regulating and managing the public airspace. At the same time, the airlines (and the passengers and cargo shippers) should be paying the full cost for the training and staffing of ATCs as well as the various infrastructure, facilities and technology that under pin it. No way, this should be a privatized concern.

Thank god for X, otherwise we wouldn't know the truth about anything. Let's go Brandon!

Another context-less post. Were less expensive options available? I don’t know. A few months ago Trump put a bunch of linemen up at one of his hotels - I assume he wasn’t charging their employers rack rate. People need to be sheltered. Even prisons cost money.

The dumbest Republicans in the Senate disagree.
