Fixed it for you.

Wishing the world a blessed and peaceful Christmas!

That's one of them. Or do you go around pretending there's only one winter holiday? It's wrong to include New Years and say Happy Holidays? Do you tell Jews "Merry Christmas" knowing full well they instead observe Hannukah?

This is fake outrage. Wishing someone a Merry Christmas is as innocuous as wishing someone Happy Thanksgiving or Happy Labor Day because it’s become a secular, consumerist holiday that’s more about presents, lit up trees, and Santa than the birth of Jesus.

It’s why it’s dumb to get offended about people saying Merry Christmas as it is for people to get offended for saying Happy Holidays. Christians, unlike other religions, have allowed all of their major holidays to get subverted by capitalism. Imagine if Muslims made Ramadan about a bunny or if Jews mad Hanukkah about a guy with a beard and reindeer. Only Christians are this weak.

But there are a number of folks in every community who do not celebrate Christmas - no tree, no gifts, no lights, no nothing - as they have their own EOY observances. It’s just kind to say “Happy Holidays.” Wish “Merry Christmas” to all you know who ACTUALLY celebrate. Then “Happy Holidays” for all others.

Not my FIL he goes out of his way to say Merry Christmas. It’s really aggressive. Like a secrete hand shake.

And there are those weirdos who give a dirty look if you tell them "Happy Holidays" - guess not so happy for you if you can't take having someone give you an innocuous friendly greeting. Last weekend I was in a Harley Davidson dealership buying a relative a gift and during the course of routine friendly small talk I told the cashier "Happy Holidays" as I was picking up my purchase to leave and he suddenly shot me a dirty look. I feel sorry for the people who have been so spun up and brainwashed in culture war BS that they take offense if you say anything other than "Merry Christmas."

The real question is why anyone would say "Happy Holidays" in the first place?

Because it is inclusive and everybody needs to be more inclusive; not less inclusive.

Are you against inclusion or something?

Its been pretty clearly stated that no one is offended by Merry Christmas, but is by Happy Holidays. So Merry Christmas is therefore more inclusive.

There definitely are people who are offended by “Merry Christmas”. The reason is because it does not include their holiday and presumes they celebrate either secular or religious Christmas, which is not the case. They feel forgotten or excluded.

As you said, there are people who are offended by “Happy Holidays”. Those I’ve met, the reason is because they feel their holiday, religious Christmas, is the only holiday worth mentioning. They feel slighted that their feelings are not preeminent to everyone.

I’m a Christian and believe in kindness, so I say Happy Holidays unless I know which specific holiday someone celebrates. I would never say Merry Christmas as a means to assert my beliefs on anyone else. That would be antithetical to what Christians are taught.

I've never witnessed anyone get "mad" when wished Merry Xmas or Happy Holidays. My Jewish and Muslim friends wish me Merry Xmas even though I'm not a Christian. I say, "same to you" and no one is bothered by it. Grow up. This is all made up poop propaganda that has been placed in your head. Turn off the Fox News and MSNBC and come back to reality.

Muslims recognize Christ but do not celebrate Christmas(birth of Christ). Jews do not recognize Christ and do not acknowledge Christmas. Jews are the target of the war of Christmas because they do not recognize Christ.

There is no "war of Christmas". No normal people get upset if you say Merry Xmas or Happy Hanukkah or Happy Eid. Get over yourself fool.

Disagree and stop using Xmas. It is derogatory to Christian’s and blasphemous. Word matter.

LOL. My vacuum cleaner is smarter than you.

And your vacuum cleaner sucks too

You should be in the habit of saying Happy Holidays for most of the year then. Independence day, they may not be American. Labor day, they may be a CEO. Mothers day, don't go assuming genders. Columbus day, oh boy.

If I ever mention July 4 or Labor Day, it’s something along the lines of “have a good weekend” if it lines up. If it’s the middle of the week, I wouldn’t say anything because I would assume that like me they are too tired to do any real celebrating. And I never, ever, ever wish any woman a Happy Mothers’ Day unless I know she’s a mother. I only say Happy Holidays when there is more than one holiday being celebrated at around that time, which is the case in December but not for any of the holidays you mentioned. If you’d only spend half the energy you spend getting worked up about this doing something kind for your fellow human beings…

Look at all of that wonderful diversity Germany has imported. Only a few Christmas market attacks every year by Germany's new guests are worth it for the diversity.

Time for you to peruse: https://www.diversityresources.com/interfaith-calendar-2024/

You'll see that the year is full of holidays, and if you're going to be inclusive you should be so all year long.

What is wrong with liberalism and liberals like you? You guys think two diametrically opposed cultures can mix and live together and sing kumbaya. How many more victims at Christmas Markets in Germany or in Paris have to die in the liberal alter of diversify before you guys admit it is a stupid idea to have open borders?
