Reports from Germany that it was a 50 year old Saudi doctor who worked in Germany.
Authorities believe the car is wired with explosives. 8 years ago there was a similar attack on a German Christmas market. BBC coverage is comprehensive. Daily Mail is updating quickly as well. |
I see it all the time. Cashiers say "Happy holidays" in a tone that says "I can't believe I have to self-censor in this underpaid job and I can't even say Merry Christmas" - and you wonder why the working class voted for Trump? Happy WOKE-idays |
Some "doctor." So much kindness for helping others... |
let me guess, would you happen to be a Kamala Harris voter? |
Well, I'm smart enough and old enough to know better than to vote for 80 year old people for POTUS. Hashtag- not rocket science |
| My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the toddler and adult killed in this attack, as well as the 60+ other innocents injured. |
I don’t go around wishing people Happy 4th or Happy Mothers’ Day - unless I know they celebrate. Just like I don’t wish Merry Christmas unless I know they celebrate. If someone wishes me a Merry Christmas and I don’t know what holiday they celebrate, I’m likely to respond Happy Holidays because it’s more inclusive. What they should hear from that if they celebrate Christmas is oh, she wished me a Merry Christmas. Is this really that hard to understand or are you just pushing an agenda? BTW, you do know that “holiday” is a nod to “holy day”, right? Does that help? Here are the lyrics from “Happy Holiday” from Irving Berlin in 1942, in case they make you realize that for decades this saying has often meant Christmas, but has evolved and can also be interpreted to mean something more generic or inclusive: Happy holiday (happy holiday) Happy holiday (happy holiday) While the merry bells keep ringing Happy holiday to you (happy holiday) (Happy holiday) It's the holiday season And Santa Claus is coming 'round The Christmas snow is white on the ground When old Santa gets into town He'll be coming down the chimney, down (He'll be coming down the chimney, down) It's the holiday season And Santa Claus has got a toy For every good girl and good little boy Santa's a great big bundle of joy When he's coming down the chimney, down (When he's coming down the chimney, down) He'll have a big fat pack upon his back And lots of goodies for you and for me So leave a peppermint stick for old St. Nick Hanging on the Christmas tree It's the holiday season (the holiday season) So hoop-de-do and dickory dock And don't forget to hang up your sock 'Cause just exactly at twelve o'clock He'll be coming down the chimney, down (He'll be coming down the chimney, down) He'll have a big fat pack upon his back And lots of goodies for you and for me So leave a peppermint stick for old St. Nick Hanging on the Christmas tree It's the holiday season (the holiday season) So hoop-de-do and dickory dock And don't forget to hang up your sock 'Cause just exactly at twelve o'clock He'll be coming down the chimney Coming down the chimney Coming down the chimney, down Happy holiday (Happy holiday) Happy holiday While the merry bells keep ringing Happy holiday to you |
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Eid, ... and everything else to you. Hopefully you're not one to be offended by well wishes. If so, get over it. |
BS, if Biden had stayed in the race, you would have voted for him. It’s not about age, you are just an ideologue. |
I wouldn't vote for Trump or Biden with a gun to my head. I have principles. I was raised when people were forced to have principles and standards that they refused to compromise. |
So you’re an ideologue AND a liar - no wonder you voted for Kamala, it sounds like you’re her type. |
You have mental issues. Seek therapy. |
Why did she do that? You only have to pin them for 3 seconds. Seems kinda mean to not let them up after 3 seconds. The war on Christmas has always been a confluence of two things, one legitimate and the other not: 1. a xenophobic aversion to the celebration of anything other than christmas during the winter season by people from different cultures and religious backgrounds. 2. a reaction to anti-christian rhetoric from people who were offended that the most dominant winter holiday tradition in america is christmas and that christmas like many winter holidays has a religious aspect to it. |

Honestly, Christmas is not really a religious holiday anymore.
Almost every athiest I know celebrates christmas and even easter. |
