This is horrifying, and I'm so sorry for the families who had contact with this creep. I can't imagine that there aren't victims from his years in schools. Unbelievable.

Why is it despicable? Working in preschools is dominated by women. It is despicable when men waltz in a get leadership roles. Anywhere between 94 to 98% of preschool teachers are women.

I have a very hard time with these people. Some parents call for calm and protection to the school NCRC and BVR. I don’t care at all about these institutions who can’t protect kids! I don’t protect them if they can’t protect our children.

Well we had a child at BVR when Carrol was there and I haven’t received any email. This doesn’t really impact the current families

What he is accused of is horrific. He himself attended a British boarding school. Go read about the horrific abuse that went on in those schools and how the adults protected the institution and abusers rather than the child victims. We all like to think that we’d be able to tell that someone was like this, that it would be obvious, but it’s not. Why do you think it keeps happening. If there was an obvious “tell” we wouldn’t all be so shocked.

Stop though trying to say that people around him knew what he was up to. If you are not abusive or a poedophile your mind just doesn’t go there. I remember someone years ago getting arrested on possessing child pornography who worked at a Montgomery County High School. We knew him a bit through an outside group. No one who was friends with him had any idea he had that stuff on his computer. He never asked or engaged in the behavior close to work or home.

I also knew someone whose spouse worked with Ted Bundy. He was always polite and respectful to her. Scary.

Right now I feel bad for his family who probably had no idea (unless he was abusive in any way towards them) and any victims.

Beauvoir suffers from extreme hubris. So it didn't do its due dilligence. Definitely with Eric Toth. And maybe with James Carroll too.

Very wrong. First, many Beauvoir kids have siblings currently at NCRC. Second, it’s very relevant to current Beauvoir families of the school (even prior leadership) covered anything up.
