I generally consider the schools where there are a lot of rich but non-academically performing kids. The very top schools have more money around to filter out these out in place of the top performers.
Colby SMU University of Richmond Miami Middlebury Williams Sweetbriar Hampden Sydney In the past, Vandy, but the academics have improved and it’s a harder admit now. |
PP here, I do actually on the buy side. I’ve only met one Bucknell grad in nyc finance and it wasn’t even through work and they work in compliance. Totally dishonest to suggest Bucknell is a viable school for finance. |
Midd?? It gets the same students as Williams at our private!! |
I visit these threads only to seek the Bucknell/"The Street" poster. It's like seeing an urban coyote! |
Sailing! Waterfront! and other rich average kids who aren't pushed hard |
Yes, and High Point. Rollins. Elon. |
Plus. 1 Syracuse |
Vandy doesn't belong in this sentence. It has the stats of 3-4 Ivies now and has for a good while. 1930 Vanderbilt, sure, but that would also be true of places like Brown and Penn |
Back in the day there were a lot of very wealthy international kids at AU. As in major wealth |
