NP here and ignoring the various CR-AAAAZZZIES that have chimed in and are trying to hijack the post....

I'm really sorry your family was involved in that incident, OP. I'm relieved to hear that the center is going to let the woman know she (and her child, unfortunately) are no longer welcome. As a few others have now said, I think you may want to reconsider contacting the police. Really, for the sakes of the woman's child and the rest of us sane folks. Her outburst, to put it mildly, speaks of some major issues in my opinion. And when coupled with the fact that she has a "history" that now makes her unwelcome at your center....well, that really speaks volumes.

Like a PP suggested, call the police and explain the situation - let them determine the next course of action. I'd even mention that the center described her as having a "history" and encourage them to follow-up with the center directly.

Everyone has bad days, that's a given, but that woman's behavior is both inexcusable AND DANGEROUS.

21:26 again. Forgot to say that I think contacting the police is a necessary step because this woman might really need a "wake-up call" at that level. For everyone's safety - her child, herself, and others. If this is a pattern of behavior and no one has **truly** called her on it, I am concerned it will continually escalate.
