Univ of Arizona

Although I have not taken any courses at the University of Arizona in Tucson, I have visited the school & city on several occasions. Pretty campus, nice town. More of a party school than an academic school. Good place to enjoy four years of fun, but it will most likely be at the cost of career opportunities both within the SW region and certainly nationally.

U of Arizona is well known for astronomy and is a solid school for nursing and optical sciences. Gets good reviews for its business school, but prospective students should check out internship and employment opportunities prior to committing. Relative did this and turned down a full tuition scholarship to remain in the eastern part of the US.
