Israel can only fight one ground war at a time. The coordinated pager explosion forestalls Hezbollah’s recent saber rattling about escalating in the north. It was a preemptive precision strike. And frankly I think a lot of Lebanese are sleeping a bit better tonight; Hezbollah is despised by many Lebanese.

Since 10/7 rockets have been shot NONSTOP into Israel from Lebanon. Nonstop. Israel has relocated about 150,000 people out of the north from their homes. This was not out of nowhere. It’s trying to slo them down. People are making it seem as if it was just quiet from
hezbollah and Israel was the aggressor. It’s just false.

Do you realize that they were responding and trying to stop the barrage of rockets that have been coming into Israel by Hezbollah from Lebanon?

Do you realize that they were responding and trying to stop the barrage of rockets that have been coming into Israel by Hezbollah from Lebanon?

I wish they could have distributed these to Hamas. Seems so precise, without hurting the non involved.

There was another way to stop the rockets from Lebanon: ceasefire in Gaza.

That would have resulted in less death for All (including Jews in Israel and the hostages).

Netanyahu is the greatest terrorist of them all.

There are real humans that he is killing. He and others in his party can use dehumanizing language to describe them but it’s simply not true. Real living humans.

It's clever but ultimately they killed 9 and now there are 2000 fighters who are really, really pissed off. It's like kicking the hornet's nest.

Agree, but then you are looking at the big picture which doesn’t fit with Netanyahu’s goal of destroying Gaza. He will never accept a ceasefire. He will bomb and bomb until only rubble is left.

Imagine if the rocket attacks resume unchanged in a week. Then all you’ve accomplished is new business for the pager makers.

If one or both sides want war, or want something (land) enough to fight a war over it, war doesn't end until one side is exterminated or exiled. Endless war is better than genocide though. It becomes a fact of life, like car crashes.
