It hasn't been a public health problem. It's been a problem for small group of people-- mostly people with anxiety.

Not all, but most. I'm sure you've seen the studies confirming that.

Schools will give your kid a kit but you must request it from the school admin. Not sure if they will give it this year as they did if you asked last year.

Some people are desperate to find something else to freak out about now that covid is a non-issue.
