No. NAL is something that was mostly boys and I think it had a girls for New England, but when GA Rising had legal issues (no idea what they were), NAL let the GA Rising teams join NAL and have a season |
|
Right. But nal only affects the east coast. This will be something bigger I would imagine.
That would impact east/west |
It's DPL, how big could it be? You guys are hilarious. |
NAL is only east coast for girls, boys are national. So if they merged they would be the "total package" |
Sounds to me that parents are interested because they're tired of all the fractured leagues and fighting between leagues. |
But DPL is for girls only.. boys are usually mls next 2nd teams |
|
In their pitchbook.
THE DPL PARTNERS WITH EXISTING LEAGUES TO AFFORD OPPORTUNITIES FOR MORE PLAYERS TO INTEGRATE INTO THE OPL ECOSYSTEM. LAUNCHING IN 2024, WE WILL PARTNER WITH THE NOL TO CREATE PATHWAYS FOR INDIVIDUAL TEAMS TO COMPETE AND THRIVE EARNING OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE OPL PATHIAAY. LEAGUE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER |
| Could mean a lot if things |
|
It’s going to link all of the member leagues that fall under the NAL
Regional academy league Florida academy league Northeast academy league Ohio Academy League SoCal Academy league |
| Crickets……. |
|
While everyone is waiting for the DPL announcement...
GA added Colorado United |
| total waste of time. It is a nothing announcement and doesnt really help any kids anywhere |
| How does this help anything? DPL x EA? What the heck is EA? |
To what end? |
| Agreed, announcement doesn't really provide much information or clue to what it'll be. |
