A merger is a business deal where two existing, independent companies combine to form a new, singular legal entity

GA and DPL would not necessarily Merge as one would be a feeder to the other.

DPL and ECRL could merge and create something new.

DPL and NAL could merge and create something new.

DPL and Elite 64 could merge and create something new.

Dpl announced months ago they were going to have a Mid Atlantic division for 2024. Nothing since, but they did say there was one

Agreed, but they should have playoffs based on the entire club. Each age plays each other and the best club advances

Clubs invest in staffing and facilities based on league affiliation. Players choose clubs based on league affiliation. Demoting a whole club would result in massive numbers of players leaving every season. Promoting a whole club would attract those same players to replace the current players. It would create more instability than anyone wants.
