Oh Jesus...I meant to say "...not allowing the president to spend a limitless amount of money on personal travel..." So now please explain the reasoning behind your incoherent post.

God forbid if Black folks appear to be living too good. The masses can't handle the perception that Blacks aren't on welfare, in the projects, or chewing on a chicken bone. Education and opportunity does not provide freedom. Only the imagine of freedom.

Yes, but dear, the Obama's are *black*. That kind of behavior is nothing short of uppity. The Reagan's were beautiful movie stars--not common upstarts.

Guessing the OP is one of those Hillary "cougar" protestors. Or a Republican.

I would tend to agree with post. Because they are 'black', the general public is unaccustomed to seeing them live with style, grace, travel internationally, etc.

Nixon resigned because he got caught lying to the nation. His Republican staff were nothing more than common thugs breaking into the Democratic office at the Watergate. It all started out as a common burglary.

In response:

I agree 100%. This is an issue of race. Nothing else.

I'm a Democrat, I'm disappointed in Obama but barring a scandal or incident that completely changes my sense of him, I will absolutely vote for him in 2012. The date to New York bothered me. The super expensive parties. The number of parties. (I would love to know the price tag of the one for the President of Mexico!) This trip to Marbella, Michelle and Sasha are meeting up with friends, is costing taxpayers a bundle is too much. At least Bush took most of his vacations at family properties. I am thinking the Obamas are paying for Michelle and Sasha's hotel room(s) at this Ritz-Carlton property. They better be! But we, you and I, are paying for Air Force Two, the secret service detail, etc. Maybe they should tone it down a bit. He's hanging by a thread in the polls. A lot can happen in two years. But if this keeps up. The disconnect, the insensitivity and the mindlessness are just getting to me.

Yes, Michelle wearing $500.00 athletic shoes to feed the poor. Not good public image. Also the trip to Spain on Taxpayers back for use of Air Force 2 and extra secret service. Too bad but there is nothing we can do about this except at the ballot box. My reason for not voting for him in 2012 (I'm an Independent) is that he is just a lot of hot air--all style and no substance. Same for her.

Do you have any idea how much money other first ladies and high profile political wives spend just on their personal wardrobe? Cindy McCain's affinity for Chanel is not cheap--she often wears an outfit costing thousands of dollars and her jewelry collection is even more lavish. With that being said, I see nothing wrong with this--they are spending their own money on these expenditures.

I am so sick of hearing this claptrap about Obama and everyone who is says something against him is racist. He is doing a t=rotten job. It is competence and lack thereof.

Also, living in the White house, vacationing in Spain, as well as 9 other vacations by Michelle, vacationing in ares with millionaires. This isn't freedom?

Before yoou or someone else starts screaming, no one is saying the first lady is a tramp. Below is one line of lyrics from the song.

"Won't go to Harlem, in ermine and pearls" and Cindy McCain did not go to feed the homeless as First lady wearing shoes that could have fed a family of four for a month or more.

Watergate led to a resignation because the economy sucked. Monica Lewinsky led to acquittal because the economy was going gangbusters.

You should ask for a refund from wherever you were taught history.
