This is not the mother of the kid who died; it's his grandmother. She is also the one who rushed to the papers and gave all this information about drugs etc. Seems attention seeking and not all that bright. And her rise to fame as super-parent is ridiculous. Yes, their 3 daughters are educated (as they should be - their father was a Stanford professor), but the outstanding success they have (the billions) is almost entirely due to their connection to Google, which was completely serendipitous. |

“The family is awaiting a toxicology report that could help confirm the cause of death.“
They know that it was a drug, but Somehow op knows that it was a fentanyl Od. |
Well they said if you take an "illegal" drug 1 time you are 100% going to die. I don't think you can make any valid point with such a ridiculous statement. |
I know what they said. You are rehashing this again. Again, they likely didn’t mean that. They probably mean highly likely. And again, you get the point. You wouldn’t get the point only if you are just plain stupid. |
Different poster who was backing up how ridiculous of a statement it was. And also "highly likely" proves YOU do not get the point. Plenty of people taking all sorts of drugs "legal" & "illegal" living fulfilling lives. |
Obviously OP doesn’t know but there is a reasonably high chance of this being the case. |
| Prosecutor here- fentanyl is everywhere. There is so so so much of it. Nothing to do about it but wait for it to run its course like crack. I see so many ruined lives day in and day out. I don't even know if legalization would end the problem. Only venting here because I deal w this situation daily and feel exhausted and hopeless. |
Okay, druggie. |
| I don't get this. Who benefits from all these deaths? What business wants to kill their customers quickly? (I can name many that are happy to kill us slowly.) |
Genuine question: do you think harsher penalties for distributing would do anything? Or is the horse too far out of the barn? |
So, no risk with dying by doing drugs. PSA- Say yes to drugs!!!!!!!!!!!!! PP says people who are abusing drugs are living fulfilling lives. |
From what I understand, their biggest business are the customers who have the highest tolerance. So those dealers that sell stronger drugs get more customers. If they kill a few people with lower tolerances along the way, it is a side effect of maintaining their usual customer base. |
Yeah, fentanyl is living live fulfillingly! |
There are always more customers. It's a cost of doing business. |
