How proud are you to be an American?

Are we?

Because right now it’s looking like Trump is going to win the GOP primary.

Oh please. You all want him to win. The entire media is in simultaneous salivating/panic mode over it. Salivating that he will clench the nomination so they can have ratings bonanza talking about him nonstop again for the next six months. And panic that they might cause him to win again because they have learned absolutely nothing from ignoring voters last time.

Allow me to roll out the red carpet to the tarmac. ((Waves buh-bye))

Don’t waste your time. PP isn’t going anywhere.

I’m getting unsalted whole almonds. Going for the second container.

What I do to change it? I avoid fast food chains, threw away all refined sugars at home, adopted the Mediterranean diet, started an exercise routine, appreciate small things in life, love my parents, spread the word about the benefits of lifestyle changes.
We do not need sugar.

WRONG Thread PP
.

Nope. It’s actually the right thread. The 2020-2025 USDA sugar added recommendation- released by the Don the con adm- followed the processed food + sugar businesses and the money, not what our bodies need. This is harming children and adults’ health. Scientists have been recommending to lower the calories intake from 10% to 6%.

Are you under the impression that Americans actually look to guvernment agencies to determine whether or not they should eat more or less sugar? That doesn’t seem very American to me. Seems more like what a government controlled communist population would do.

NP. Do you believe you're addressing the media here?

Too true. They always make empty promises.

^ Here is an example of Americans not being “smarter than this”. So embarrassing.

What has America done recently to be proud of? Serious question. I'm not being snarky.

Defended Ukraine, maybe?

But in other ways are we leading?

I’m addressing the fact that you don’t have an original “outrage” about Trump that wasn’t put there by the industry (entertainment and news media) that created, elevated, sustained, then vilified, resurrected, and continues to promote him.
That you don’t know this is unfortunate, but still true.

Knock it off with that trite treacle.

Oh hey that’s a great strategy. Insult and talk down to those who aren’t in lockstep with your political ideaology. That always works out well.

Both things can be true at the same time.

Israel and America DO share values. And both Israel and America have disgusting histories of oppressing people and occupying their land.

Truth is often an antidote for ingratitude.
