Trump will pick someone for VP who appeals to the weakest link in his coalition: College educated, professional, upper middle-class, white suburban voters who want to believe the GOP is still the party of Ronald Reagan. My guess is either Glenn Youngkin or JD Vance.

I don't think Youngkin would accept because he has higher ambitions. Both Virginia be Senators are Democrats and he will likely make a run for the Senate.

A few months ago I would have thought that Youngkin was too smart for that. But then he tried to gain seats in the state legislature by proposing abortion bans so who knows how smart he is.
