I think he got excited at the prospect of making a lot more money and didn’t really think about the implications of his decision. Whoever suggested him potentially needing to take business classes in the future,

$35. If he worked full-time there would be an increase based on projects and they would offer benefits. But his boss said he’d be willing to wait until May to hire him. I know the money is enticing now.
Honestly it's a huge bummer that a boss would be encouraging a kid to drop out of high school.
