MA coaches are terrible.

Field space availability, weather issues are def not helping.

There is a lack of high quality coaches around here. Beyond that, we don't even have a real idea on the scope of what a real mega club is. Solar SC in TX fields over 200 'competitive travel' teams, over 100 boys and 100 girls teams respectively, of course with that kind of sample size, you're going to find some gems.

Our little scrappy club has 50 teams. Surely big ones like Bethesda/Arlington have 200, no?

By my count, Arlington has 152 combined, BSC has 77 total combined.

Just for kicks, Loudoun has 108 combined teams.

None of these nova coaches could hang in Florida, Texas, or SoCal.

I think CC formerly of FCV would be fine in Texas. CW would also be fine. Those are the only two on the girls side that are probably on that level. Why CC chose VRSC absolutely blows my mind though.

So the coaches that coach nova teams that beat Texas teams aren’t good enough to coach in Texas?

You will find out soon. Revolution has the best private facility in Washington DC reason. This will make a difference in their outcome.
