It doesn’t matter what you label me though. That’s what you don’t seem to get. What matters is how I, and the many people like me vote. |
There are all sorts of fetal anomalies, many that aren’t detected by blood test screening. |
If you are anti-woman and anti-LGBTQ I question why you ever “voted D” in the past. You voted for McAuliffe? |
Certainly won’t happen with a R Congress. |
Well, I’m still fertile but I’d rather know early rather than later the way things are |
Certainly the earlier the better but that’s not always the case. |
I didnt vote for McAuliffe because he was corrupt and I didn’t vote for Youngkin. But for the rest of the ticket I voted democrat. I know it’s hard for you to understand but I identified as a liberal and progressive for the following reasons: - pro-union -pro public education - pro - universal healthcare - strong belief in the 1st amendment - pro-gun control - anti-war -pro-choice - believe in expanding the social safety net - pro universal free lunch Democrats care about none of the above and the base has become more pro-war and anti freedom of speech than many republicans (though republicans are hypo critical in this regard). I can go on and on about my positions but I don’t expect you to understand. Complex thoughts are difficult for you since you labeled me as anti women and anti lgbt without having a deep discussion with me about my views. What I do expect you to understand though is I have never voted republican in my life and will be voting republican in local elections. |
Won’t happen with a democratic congress either so in this regard they are no different. The only difference is in the rhetoric. |
The difference is Rs are actively trying to reduce women’s rights all over the country, including VA. A VA GOP state senator introduced a full ban earlier this year. Look around. This isn’t rhetorical. |
You really aren’t very convincing. If on the outside chance you’re actually this ideologically inconsistent, you’re a complete anomaly. You are completely delusional if you think you are representative of some sort of new voting bloc like the Reagan Democrats. |
That’s just it — there really are not. You are marching to your own drummer. You just said you vote third party in national elections— that is fringe voter behavior by definition. You’re an outlier, not some harbinger of a trend. |
Where did I say that I voted third party in national elections? I have always voted democrat. My ideological leanings are my own. Like many people, you can’t put me in a box. I know that’s for the msnbc crowd to understand but that’s how most people are . The trend I am part of isn’t that there are people who are developing my ideological leanings. The trend that I am part of is voters who used to vote Democrat, not voting Democrat anymore, for whatever reason. |
Yes but if Democrats cared so much about abortion rights then why didn’t they codify these rights into law when they could? That’s the question you keep avoiding answering. Anyways I’m done with this discussion. Good luck to you with the election. Trust me it’ll be a difficult one since Democrats are losing support. |

they need to keep that wedge issue in their back pocket, always
Long live Sanger |
|
So, punish D’s for one issue by voting for the pure evil party that takes away all your rights and democracy too
