Same. I am happy at 80. 78 is the compromise. |
| 78. DH turns it to 72 when he gets home. |
| 74-75 day and 68 night. Cannot sleep if it is above 70. |
|
Is anyone else disturbed by how hot the days are right now? I'm in California but the boiling temperature this week has definitely been global warming.
Without AC I don't know how we'd manage. |
No? And you do know there's a difference between weather and climate, right? |
| 75 most of the time, 73 when I'm on the treadmill, 74 for sleeping |
| 80. Would like it cooler but don't want to be more polluting. |
| 75 day and 72 night |

Many years ago, we got an energy audit and basically did the following
- lots of insulation - solar attic fans - solar attic fan in garage - sealing all electric outlets with foam - new energy efficient doors and windows - extensive solar panels - ceiling fans in a number of rooms - room ACs units. - light blocking blinds - window tint in key areas. We have a very comfortable house in spite of only having one AC unit. The top floor used to be very uncomfortable but no longer so. I think the most impact was because of the insulation and solar attic fans. |
|
73 day and night. We run room AC units at night @ 68 and 66.
We close the vents in the basement for ac. Basement Is around 68. |
|
78 during the day, 75 at night. We have a dual system and usually keep the top floor/bedrooms at around 83-84 during the day because no one really goes up there.
We don't keep the AC low because I'm cheap but also don't really like the cold. |
| 70 day, 68 at night. But my husband hates this, he's always freezing. He'll turn it up when I'm not home. |
I think I’m your nanny. It’s too hot in your house. We are all sweating!! |
| Older Unit. 78 Day and Night. With Fans cooling some rooms |
