73-74 during the day. 65-66 at night. DGAF about the environment. You really overestimate the impact of one persons ac. But go ahead sweat away. I’m nice and cool. |
Same. And our AC is old AF. I replace parts on my own and it just continues to hum along. |
Billion people start with one person you f'king idiot. Do your part, you selfish freak. |
DP. If pp like their AC that cold, they probably (hopefully) keep the heat low during the winter. So think of the whole big picture. What do you keep your heat at? I keep mine at 64 day/night. |
|
Our thermostat is upstairs (so is our daughter's room). Downstairs is about 4 degrees colder than upstairs all the time (that's where our room and our son's room is).
We set it to 74 during the day, 72 during naps, 70 at night. So downstairs it's 70, 68, 66. |
Nah. I prefer to be comfortable but sweat away. Heat to 70 during the winter. Maybe 72 if I get cold. Still 65 at night. |
79 for us. Had never considered that we might be lizard people. Perhaps? Dunno. |
| 78-80 |
Exactly. Same here. 72 24/7. Winter time its 64 at night and 66 if cloudy, otherwise if its a sunny 40 degree day it stays at 64. For any of you who have warmer top floors I implore you to try register vent fans. Life changing for us. We have a 1.5 story house with the master bedroom and kid bedroom in the upstairs. It was awful in the summer. Bought portable AC that would run constantly along with needing the AC to run at 70. This summer its been amazing. We installed two in our master and waiting for the one for our sons room. |
| 80 during the day from 8:30 am to 4 pm; 75 from 4 pm to 10 pm; 72 from 10 pm to 8:30 am. |
| I would be so uncomfortable being hot all the time. Ours is set to 68 around the clock. |
|
76/75 day and 76/66 night.
When it's 90+ and humid out though, even 78 feels great inside!!! LOL |
| 77 during the day and 74 at night. I run cold. |
Why in a million years would I ruin my sleep? Quality sleep helps every aspect of your life. I can't sleep in rooms over 70 and will never do it. Crank it down!! My heat is also set to 64 in the winter at night, so it balances out. |
Can't persuade someone not to be selfish. Have to soak the scabs. |
