Um, no, if you're going to post statements like this, it's your job to back it up with evidence, not others' job to chase around the internet looking for something that probably doesn't exist. But this is helpful anyway-- if you can't link to citations, we can assume you're full of shit. |
Citation? |
Here is a credible layperson's explanation of the state of the research. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/do-repeat-covid-infections-increase-the-risk-of-severe-disease-or-long-covid/ |
Not that poster but I got really sick from the second shot too. The vertigo and other issues lasted weeks. I couldn't do much and it was terrible. Never again. |
+1 At my postpartum visit, the nurse asked if I'd had a covid shot since birth. I laughed and told her I thought people were done with that nonsense To be honest, the groupthink against unjabbed was so ridiculous and malicious. Then so many all got covid or side effects from the shots. (Didnt Biden get it after his patience was wearing thin for the unvaccinated? 🤣) now people are all "i never said that!" |
You tried hard, but "unjabbed" gave you away |
Your hatred of Dr. Fauci tells us everything about you. Qanon nut. |
Well, I also never got covid before vaccines. In that time, I went to the gym maskless 3-4x a week, saw friends and family occasionally indoors, ate out a couple of times, and went to stores/shops 3-4x a week (cloth masked). And we all know the vaccine does not prevent transmission or infection, so your thought is pretty bunk. |
Tell that to virus. |
Do you even have any sense of the serious consequence risk of Covid for somebody below the age of 65 with normal/low blood pressure, better than acceptable blood lab reports, normal BMI, exceeding 150 minutes of elevated heart rate exercise per week, healthy diet, etc..? Rounded to a fraction of a whole number, it is still zero. So, I won’t be having a “discussion with virus.” The default to having more drugs is the polar opposite of normal. These vaccines are just that-drugs. I’ll take my chances on my own. |
“The bottom line: It's likely the U.S. will see another tripledemic. Whether it becomes a crisis will largely hinge on Americans' perception of risk..” People, especially at risk, will likely need three vaccines this year one for Covid, one for RSV, and one for flu. Obviously certain will need more and you need to talk to your own doctor about all of these things, but this is the gist of the article. Here’s what is going on: https://www.axios.com/2023/07/06/tripledemic-covid-vaccines |
I still don't understand why people are so weird about the covid shots. If my doc recommends I get another booster, I'll get the booster - just like I do the flu shot every year. Really not a big deal. |
Everyone thinks they know better than doctors and scientists these days. It's Jenny McCarthy syndrome. ![]() |
You conveniently skipped over every single line in that article that referred to immuno compromised people and those at high risk. |
So you're one of the lucky ones who experience no side effects from the covid shots? Lucky you. It is a big deal, for those of us that get knocked out for 1-2 full days each time we get one of the shots. And no, it's not "better than covid" because I've never had covid, ever. |
